With new initiatives from business in the pipeline, we need to grow our awesome team to enable long-term solutions from scratch. Are you a full stack java developer who are passionate about cloud development and love teamwork? Then this is for you!

We are a curious and empowered team with “T-shaped” skills who are cultivating an open mindset in our everyday work. We work in an agile approach with short feedback loops and continuous integrations. We are proud of the diversity in the team - not just among team members regarding culture, age and religion - but also in the delivery portfolios usage in a global business and the new cloud technologies implemented. Our solutions are modern and attractive, no solution is more than two years old.

You will be working with highly skilled people, curious for exploring and learning more. We continuously improve our processes and deliverables. We will never limit your creativity, never shut down ideas before testing them and we will never be boring.

In addition to exciting career and personnel development opportunities stated in your own plan we offer Scania employees permanent employment, a competitive salary and other benefits, performance bonuses, a pension plan, flexible working hours and much more.

You prefer working in, and have experience from Cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building & maintaining our new applications in AWS connected to our partner brands. You will, together with the team, ensure that our solutions are built with good software architecture in compliance to our Scania Cloud security policies. The team have the full responsibility for infrastructure, CI/CD as well as the steps that we take for creating a maintainable solution. You enjoy being a full stack developer with significant experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps. You also advocate an agile approach to software development. Our technology stack/tools includes also Java, Lambdas, Angular, Python and GitLab among others. We believe you have experience in at least some of these tools, if not all of them.

Knowledge of customer needs and new technologies is crucial to your success in this position. You will continuously gather this knowledge through communication, collaboration and learning.

You have an academic background and a couple of years professional experience from the area. You are comfortable with work from a strategic design level to detailed improvements in the implementation phase. Experience from an agile development environment and automotive or transport industry is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills are required to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
