We are looking for a colleague to join our Solution Architect-team and contribute with new innovative solutions for our customers. Your future team is within Architecture & Enablement within the organization that supports Scania´s customer digitalization projects with tools, development and services. It is mainly for our Connected Services Area where we are an important contributor that allows Scania´s end-users to have more digitized solutions for various needs. Examples of this could be My Scania Portal or an authorization solution for one our applications, there are plenty of interesting initiatives on-going that you could be part of!
You will join a smaller team and work with two other Solution Architects in a role with a large amount of variety. Besides your team, you will also have a lot of contact with other teams across the organization at Customer Digitalization, R&D and various parts of Scania IT.
Some of your tasks and areas of responsibilities will be:
- Ensure roadmap fulfilment throughout its life cycle and coordinate architecture across teams/domains in the organization
- Keep a global view on all systems and services under our responsibility
- Ensure a technical vision and roadmap for where the domain is heading from a technical perspective
- Identify common architectural needs and help the teams identifying and gather common requirements towards R&D
- Discuss and agree on common guidelines, patterns and rules, while at the same time maintaining development team independency
- Create long term technical vision, strategic plan and technical roadmap for your area to secure technical dept in your product.

In order to thrive and be successful in this role, you also need to be good at simplifying complex things and communicate well, as you will interact with many within and outside our department.
We expect you to have a minimum of 5+ years of work experience as an architect working with large and complex systems. You are technically well versed and enjoy keeping your-self up to date with latest trends and technology. Your domain background could either be within Java or .NET. You also bring experience of AWS, Microservices architecture and knowledge of 3pp integration and Master Data. Additionally, your English is fluent, both verbally and written, as well as you are confident in working with Github and Git. A Bachelors’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected.
