This is a key position where you will be part of the EMEA Agriculture sales team and participate in the commercial business cycle. You will work in coordination with the R&D section manager for Agro in EMEA providing input to R&D projects and in allocation of technical service support from the EMEA Agro R&D team. Other important parts of the rols are to maintain relationship with R&D at our global key accounts and actively promote products and new concepts within Agro. To identify new business opportunities together with sales/R&D/marketing. Some of your tasks and responsibilities will be to:

  • Direct the technical service efforts for EMEA for Agro and support sales with technical expertise in customer meetings.
  • Act as “First point of contact” for the EMEA commercial team in regard to technical support requested by the customer or any other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update knowledge on product and applications and Align and cooperate with Sales & Marketing, RD&I, RA, HSE and Operations.
  • Work closely with marketing to share customer needs, gaps and trends.
  • Lead or participate in customer projects to support business growth.
  • Support Cross-fertilization between the different segments such as the use of CMC in feed, use of formulation aids in micronutrient formulations.
  • Support the external visibility activities related to trade shows, distributor trainings etc. and actively participate in other projects as assigned.

This position is with location in Gothenburg (Sweden).

We expect you to either have a PhD in chemistry with 3-5 years of relevant work experience or a MSc degree in chemistry with 5-8 years of work experience. To be successful in this role, you need to have a solid understanding of the Agro business and market and Nouryon´s products and technologies. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders is also needed. You need to have a willingness to travel up to half of the time.

You enjoy maintaining and developing customer contacts into new projects, with a mind-set of being customer focused and service driven. Being a clear and confident communicator with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels is important as you will have broad circle of contacts. We also believe you are a performance and result oriented team-player with a high degree of self-motivation. Finally, you need to be fluent in English, both in writing and verbally.
