    InCoax Networks is a tech-driven company developing groundbreaking system solutions for fiber extension. Through innovative technology that reutilizes coaxial networks in multi-dwelling units, the company provides connectivity to fiber networks. The solution offers an alternative for accessing the fibre network, creating new opportunities in the high-speed internet market.

    With the United States as a key market, Google Fiber as its largest customer, and an established partnership with Nokia, InCoax Networks is focused on expanding in the export market. Their innovative system solution grants multi-dwelling units access to faster internet—without costly renovations.

    InCoax Networks has a team of fifty employees and long-term consultants, with offices in Lund, Gävle, and Danderyd.

    THE Challenge

    To expand technical innovation capabilities with a focus on development, the recruitment consultant needs to understand the technical requirements to make the right match. Another essential factor is understanding and communicating InCoax Networks’ unique company culture. This approach increases the likelihood of a long-term match with the candidate.

    A specific challenge that often arises for companies in the transition from start-up to scale-up is attracting qualified candidates with the right technical expertise, who may currently be with a larger company.

    For some canidates, moving to a smaller, fast-growing organisation introduces an element of uncertainty compared to the stability that larger companies offer—a factor the recruitment consultant must navigate with both skill and transparency.

    – Candidates may seek security and feel uncertain about leaving a larger, established organisation to join a smaller company, explains Artan Bitiqi, the responsible recruitment consultant.

    THE SOLUTION

    The collaboration to expand the development team in Lund began in 2021. Recruitment consultant Artan Bitiqi, a senior recruitment consultant and Team Lead in Malmö with extensive experience in tech recruitment at a deep technical level, was responsible for the assignment.

    With a well-structured recruitment process and open, clear communication with both InCoax and the candidates, Nexer Recruit delivered qualified and relevant candidates for all positions.

    The nine roles filled were:
    • System Architects
    • Embedded Developers
    • Test Leads
    • Key Account Manager

    The Result

    Through the collaboration with Nexer Recruit, InCoax Networks has built a highly qualified team of system architects and technical experts. After 2.5 years, 8 out of the 9 recruited individuals remain an integral part of the team—clear evidence of a successful match.
